Paul Wareham
Paul Wareham, a qualified Accountant (ACCA) and holder of an MBA from Manchester Business School, is the driving force behind PS Accountants.
Paul began the practice while based in Dubai in the mid-2000s and following his re-location to the UK in 2010, opened his first office in Littleborough, Rochdale.
Paul undertook his initial training at a small independent firm in Manchester, where spent time as an auditor. Paul continued his career at Mazars, gaining a wealth of experience whilst working in Corporate Finance from their Leeds office.
After moving to Dubai, he initially helped UK expats to complete their UK tax returns and assisted new start-ups to raise finance and assess their viability through the production of business plans and financial forecasting. On his return to the UK, the opening of the Rochdale practice enabled him to offer the full range of general practice services.
His spare time is taken up with family, tinkering and exercise.
Susan
Susan is the Payroll Manager and owns the other half PS Accountants. Being the wife of Paul its difficult to get away really and not be involved! A qualified teacher by trade, she now manages all the payroll and pension requirements of clients. Spare time is taken up with raising their young son, exercise and planning the next family holiday.
Jade
Jade started working for PS Accountants in 2019 and is currently studying towards her final AAT exams. She is the book-keeping expert and makes sure clients are ready to use their accounting packages using real time information. Other work also includes accounts preparation, tax returns and VAT returns. She spends her spare time with her husband and 2 young children while trying to stay healthy!
Clare
Clare started working at PS Accountants in 2025 following various endeavours across various industries. She has completed her level 3 AAT . Her works involves bookkeeping, VAT returns, preparation of tax returns, assisting with the onboarding process for new clients and generally is our organising/workflow guru. In her spare time, Clare enjoys holidaying in both the UK and abroad to discover new places of interest.
Karl
Karl joined PS Accountants 2023 and in studying the final subjects of the AAT qualification. His work mainly consists of bookkeeping, VAT returns, larger accounts preparation and personal tax returns. He also has a keen interest in AI adoption to increase both Firm and client efficiency. In his spare time, you’ll find him on the basketball court or looking for food.
