Meet the team

Paul Wareham

Paul Wareham, a qualified Accountant (ACCA) and holder of an MBA from Manchester Business School, is the driving force behind PS Accountants.

Paul began the practice while based in Dubai in the mid-2000s and following his re-location to the UK in 2010, opened his first office in Littleborough, Rochdale.

Paul undertook his initial training at a small independent firm in Manchester, where spent time as an auditor. Paul continued his career at Mazars, gaining a wealth of experience whilst working in Corporate Finance from their Leeds office.

After moving to Dubai, he initially helped UK expats to complete their UK tax returns and assisted new start-ups to raise finance and assess their viability through the production of business plans and financial forecasting. On his return to the UK, the opening of the Rochdale practice enabled him to offer the full range of general practice services.

His spare time is taken up with family, tinkering and exercise.

Susan

Susan is the Payroll Manager and owns the other half PS Accountants. Being the wife of Paul its difficult to get away really and not be involved! A qualified teacher by trade, she now manages all the payroll and pension requirements of clients. Spare time is taken up with raising their young son, exercise and planning the next family holiday.

Jade

Jade started working for PS Accountants in January 2019 after completing her level 2 AAT. She is currently studying towards her final AAT exams. Her work involves bookkeeping, VAT returns as well as accounts preparation and tax return work. If a piece of work involves a complex spreadsheet, this is our ‘go-to’ person. In her spare time outside of work she’s a ‘binge watcher’ on Netflix and also enjoys spending time with family and friends. 

Karl

Karl joined PS Accountants studying towards the AAT qualification. His work mainly consists of bookkeeping, VAT returns, accounts preparation and tax returns.
